Tencent has invited NBBJ to build on the competition concept to now develop a detailed Master Plan. The concept is driven largely by how mobility will change the way we design urban infrastructure in the future…creating the “Net City”. The concept explores how we better integrate people and technology in the future and live, work and play alternatives that arise from quickly developing advancements. Open space strategies include a bold zig-zagging “Commons” which serves as a connective element consisting of a series green and plaza elements with a people mover located within and a waterfront consisting of series of themed and interconnected parks.
