The project is the renovation of a popular pedestrian alley, which at one time served as a carriage house alley but currently links university dormitories to the main campus. The alley is activated by a collection of popular dining and coffee establishments, an academic building, and adjacent parking. Upon winning the project the team smoothly took the project from concept design through CD’s where it sat on the shelf until 2019 when the university’s funding target was met and construction began.
